A proud new addition to our American Heritage line, these exceptional quality belts are made by an Amish craftsman in his small shop next to his home. He started out making bridles and harnesses for horses and then saw a need for quality leather belts. I purchased and started wearing these belts almost two years ago and they're hardly showing any wear. I'll admit I'm hard on belts and the typical belt I buy in the chain store is lucky to last a year without coming apart. I was so impressed that I thought we should start offering them to our customers as they are a prime example of the quality you get when you purchase "Made in America" products.

The Basket Weave Belts are made from a solid piece of 12 to 13 oz. English bridle leather (not two thin strips stitched together like the chain store belts) which is very durable and wears for years. It gets its name because of the oils and tallows they use to than the hides.

This basket weave patterned leather belt will become an instant favorite of yours and before long you won't know how you got along without it. It's 1-1/2" wide (fits well in the belt loops of denim jeans) with a stainless steel buckle in the black and brass in the brown. The leather is oiled to resist water and perspiration and the buckle is attached to the belt with "Chicago" screws which make it very easy if you want to change buckles.

The belts are offered in sizes 32" - 52" (order two inches larger than regular pant size) and in either brown or black colors.
