After over a decade in business, we're getting ready to close the store.

Our specialty has always been high quality goatskin work and garden gloves made in the USA

but the person that does our sewing is retiring and there are no replacements. So that's the end

of American Heritage gloves.

We don't want to sell only imported gloves so we've decided it's

time to close shop and move on.

We appreciate all the loyal customers we've had over the years.

We will be having a going out of business sale as soon as we complete an inventory. You can be

notified when the sale will start by signing up for our newsletter here.

Wishing you all the best from all of us at Bear Wallow Gloves!

Limited to Stock on Hand... When they're gone, they're gone...

This is a discontinued item... the Protector Comforts are so much more popular than the Original Protectors that we can no longer justify stocking them. • You'll never have to worry again about your hands and arms when pruning your Rose Bushes or Berry Vines... not as long as you're wearing your "Protector" Rose Pruning Gauntlet Gloves from American Heritage. Yes, they're made right here in the USA!

  • These beautiful gloves are made from soft, yet durable goatskin long considered by the experts to be the longest wearing and have the best puncture resistance of any natural material. You get real protection ...

  • The 12" gauntlets protect your whole forearm, not just part of it and are made from split cowhide that's just stiff enough to stay in place but soft enough to flex with your arm to make working with these gloves a real pleasure.

  • Huge range of sizes ...
Nowhere else will you find rose gauntlet gloves in sizes ranging from 6 all the way through 13 (that's equivalent to XX-Small through XXX-Large) and half sizes too!

  • Here's a growing list of what our customers are using them for:

  • Pruning Roses
  • Attacking Berry Vines
  • Trimming Brush
  • Working with Barbed Wire
  • Bee Keeping
  • Citrus Pruing and Picking
  • Working with Cactus
  • Carrying in Fire Wood
  • MIG Welding

I had to come back and say i haven't had to buy another pair YET! the ones i got in late 08 are still going strong. excellent quality, customer service and the personal touch! a wonderful company to do business with! thanks for the spectacular gloves!!

    good for cactus, too!

The gloves arrived today and they are just what I have been looking for. I am a cactus hobbyist and I always have thorns to pick out of my skin. Your sizing chart was very helpful.

My gloves arrived Monday in perfect condition! They are too beautiful to use. I love them and they fit, the first gloves that have ever fit my long fingers. I admire you for supplying us with AMERICAN Made gloves.

The staff member using these gloves has been highly pleased. He has been pruning over 50 knockout roses throughout our 41 acres here and so far so good. Thanks for a quality product!

    These are GREAT gloves

Posted by Dan on Oct 14th 2010

These are GREAT gloves. Though not thornproof, they are sure a lot more thorn resistant than the leather gloves you get at Walmart or a home improvement store. And the gauntlet works great. I ordered a size 10 based on the measurement across the knuckles of my dominant hand, and the gauntlet part is a little tighter than I would like but I don't think I'd want to go 10-1/2 because the fingers are already plenty long.

Thank you for caring about your customers

Posted by Charleynne on Sep 27th 2010

I received my gloves yesterday and they are wonderful. I have had breast cancer twice and my right arm has lymphedema and is very swollen. At first I did not think I would be able to get the gloves on but I worked and worked and they fit. I love to garden especially with my roses and if I cut my arm with the thorns it is not good. These will be wonderful. Thank you caring about your customers and I loved the ribbons on my package and the enclosed card.

    Super Protector gloves!

Posted by Janet Horton on Aug 27th 2010

I wish I had known about your gloves 2 months ago when I began a major property weeding, pruning and clearing (especially of blackberry and dewberry). After using the gloves for 3 days, I can state I felt no pokes where the gloves were and my arms and hands have now healed from all the scratches and pokes I had before using these gloves. Many thanks for your great product!
